DESCRIPTION:This summer, The MAX will focus on movies made in Mississippi. First up is The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993). Join us at 7pm for a Huck Finn-themed boat building activity—make a miniature boat and see if it floats! At 7:30pm, Ward Emling, Retired Director of the Mississippi Film Office, will introduce the film and provide interesting behind-the-scenes commentary. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the film from the courtyard and lawn, film starts at 8pm. Free popcorn, and snacks for purchase. Rated PG. Doors open at 7pm, film begins at 8pm.
