First Saturday: The Legacy of Charley Pride

In the 1960s, Charley Pride became country music’s first Black superstar. His warm, strong baritone voice gave his performances a down-home sincerity that resonated with audiences throughout his remarkable career. Celebrate his legacy this month at The MAX.

Schedule of Events:
10am–Noon Make + Take Workshops
10–11:45am Learn, Play + Perform “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’”
Noon–1:30pm Live music, Daniel Houze + Friends

And take advantage of our First Saturday discount admission. $5 Adults  |  $1 Youth 6–17  |  Kids 5 and under + Members free.  All First Saturday events are free with museum admission.
