Summer Film Series: Glory

June 19, 7:30 pm10:00 pm CDT

This summer The MAX film series will feature Mississippi actors and filmmakers. First up, Glory (1989), starring Morgan Freeman as Sergeant Major John Rawlins. Glory is the story of the all-black 54th Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry that figured in one of the bloodiest actions of the American Civil War. The full-length film will be screened at 8pm, doors open at 7:30. Free and open to the public. Rated R. Film length 2 hours, 2 minutes.
