SOLD OUT: Ballet Master Class with Melanie Person (Afternoon)
Experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with the renowned Melanie Person, Mississippi native and Co-Director of The Ailey School.
This Master Class is designed for advanced dancers who are interested in a professional track, offering high-level technical insights and artistic guidance to help students reach their next level of performance. A minimum of three years of consistent, formal ballet training is required for participation. No prepared solo is necessary.
To maintain a professional environment and allow for precise technical feedback, please adhere to the following dress code (please visit the Alvin Ailey website for further dress code specifications):
- Attire: Black leotard or black form-fitting clothing
- Tights: Skin tone, pink or black tights (black leggings are optional)
- Footwear: Ballet shoes
- Essentials: Please bring a water bottle
Check-in & Prep: 4 pm (Paperwork, changing, and personal warm-up)
Master Class: 5 pm-6:30 pm
Eligibility: Intermediate/Advanced dancers, ages 9-16
