BET Raised Us: From Mississippi to the World
Join us for a celebration of the cultural legacy of Mississippi native Robert L. Johnson, whose vision transformed Black entertainment and storytelling around the world. Inspired by the energy and glamor of The BET Awards and hosted by award-winning comedian Rita Brent (Late Night with Rita Brent), the evening features a red-carpet entrance, live performances, a dance party, and a celebration of the Mississippi artists, innovators, and cultural trailblazers who continue to shape our world.
The evening begins with an add-on VIP dinner experience prepared by Chef Enrika Williams of Fauna Foodworks in Jackson. The celebration then opens to all ticket holders with red-carpet arrivals along the Walk of Fame, followed by a special performance by Ariel J. and a set by DJ Sirato.

9 pm: Performance by DJ Sirato in the Citizens National Bank Courtyard
