Puppetry and Masks Workshop with Jordan West

Participate in a two-hour workshop, led by artist Jordan West, offering a dual-focus exploration into physical performance and character creation:

• 1:30 PM | Hand-Rod Puppetry: A “Muppet-style” technical session focusing on the fundamental mechanics of hand-rod operation. Participants will learn how to bring a puppet to life.
• 2:30 PM | Larval Mask Movement: Using unique, Swiss-designed neoprene masks, actors will explore character development through the lens of the Viewpoints framework. The session focuses on how the “infantile” shapes of the masks can inform physical movement and theatrical expression.
