Spring Break Music Production Workshop
Learn how to produce music and work with a team of musicians in a professional recording studio with instructor Terrence Davis and special guest musicians Shawn Smith, Edward Griffith, Cardell Mitchell, Nearius Davis, and Rodrick Fox. Participants ages 12-18 will receive hands-on experience in the Governor’s Recording Studio.

Artist bio: Terrence Davis was a recording artist on the Bust It Capital label in 1990 and toured the country with one of the biggest rap artists in the music industry, M.C. Hammer, as his hype man. Terrence’s production credits include One Cause One Effect Debut Album “Dropp the AXXE,” OAKTOWN 357’s “Smoother Than Silk,” Ho Frat Ho’s “Ho Frat Swing” MC Hammer’s “Two Legit to Quit” Remix, Deion Sanders’s “Papa Sanders,” “Out My Buisness/Daddy was a Blues Man,” and many others in gospel, Southern soul, and blues. His upcoming 2026 release “Juke Joint Blues” was recorded in the Governor’s Recording Studio at The MAX.
