Tonea Stewart, actress and Greenwood native, performs A Black Woman Speaks, based on the poem Vicksburg native Beah Richards wrote and performed in 1950. Richards, an actress, political activist, and poet, used prose and performance to address topics of race, gender, and class, including the oppression Black women faced in that era. Free with museum admission.
