Pat Metheny is embarking on something he’s never done before in his five-decade career: a solo tour with just him and his guitar. It will feature personal and fan-favorite songs from one of the most acclaimed musicians in any genre. Playing and composing music in a wide variety of genres, Metheny has won 20 Grammy Awards across several categories. “What I have planned for the tour following the release of my new recording, Dream Box, is something different for me,” Metheny said, “focusing on the various ways to playing solo I have explored across all these decades in an evening that I think will be very special.”
